CHARACTER : dry and fruity
VARIETY : Jacquère
DESCRIPTION :
The 230 hectares dedicated to this wine lie on sun-soaked slopes, surrounded by the ancient towers of Saint-Anthelme and protected by the Montmélian mountains. More delicate and supple than other Jacquère wines, Chignin evokes notes of almond and hazelnut. It is a dry, light wine that must be consumed within two years, and can be enjoyed with local cheese-based specialties, fish, shellfish and aniseed biscuits.
