CHARACTER : dry and fresh
VARIETY : Chasselas
DESCRIPTION :
Le Domaine de Ripaille has welcomed some of the world?s most esteemed figures. Amadeus VIII, Duke of Savoy and later made Pope under the papal name of Felix V, made this château his summer residence. Surrounded by 22 hectares of Chasselas vines, Ripaille is fresh and vibrant on the palate. Marked by hawthorn overtones and touches of pineapple, lemon and dried fruit, this wine is best consumed young. It makes an ideal aperitif, or accompaniment to perch fillets, whitefish meunière or Saint-Jacques scallops.
