CHARACTER : lightly sparkling* and floral
VARIETY : Chasselas
DESCRIPTION :
Grown over an area of 80 hectares, this vineyard of Chasselas grapes boasts a winemaking technique that was established in the 13th century by Abbaye de Filly monks. Crépy is a fresh and elegant wine, with hawthorn and almond notes. It is said to be the most diuretic wine of France, and its natural, light sparkle and clarity tantalise the taste buds. An ideal aperitif wine, Crépy can be easily consumed after 10 years. Its scintillating properties are best enjoyed with finely cooked fish and Saint-Jacques scallops.
*Lightly sparkling: a wine that unveils freshness and clarity.
