DESCRIPTION :
Covering an area of 230 hectares, the Chautagne vineyard enjoys an exceptional microclimate, earning it the nickname ?the Provence of Savoy?. Its red wines are mainly produced using Gamay grapes such as Beaujolais, and represent almost 25% of the total red wines produced in Savoy. Le Gamay de Chautagne exhibits an intensely purple hue, with red fruit and spicy notes. It pairs well with Savoy?s salted meats, crozet pasta bake, braised Diot sausages and any red meat.
